A piece from the ‘Mountains Majesty’ Collection
The Pacific Northwest is a picture perfect landscape! Upon moving to Washington state in 2022, I fell in love with the mountains that are visible from almost every direction. Some days you can’t see them through the fog and rain, but you still know they are out there- magnificent, awe inspiring.
Each piece in this collection is unique- as they are created from edges, chips, bits and pieces clipped off when working on other designs. I lay out the pieces and allow the mountain ranges to come together intuitively. The peaks layer and build, and i add embellishments such as stars and texture as called for.
This piece is is approx. 1 1/4 inches wide and 1/2 inch tall.
The chain is 18 inches long, and a split, fixed chain.
The sterling silver has a patina added, then polished off on the highest places, allowing natural discolorations that give the piece added depth.
